zur Teilnahme am Wettbewerb des European Media Art Festival senden.
Eingeladen sind Filme, Videos, Installationen, Performanceprojekte
und Arbeiten im Bereich Expanded Media. Bitte nutzen Sie für alle
Einreichungen die Online-Formulare.
// Das EMAF zaehlt zu den bedeutendsten Foren der internationalen
Medienkunst. Als Treffpunkt für Kuenstler, Kuratoren, Verleiher,
Galeristen und Fachpublikum praegt es die Thematik, Aesthetik und
Zukunft der medialen Kunst entscheidend mit.
Das Festival bietet jaehrlich einen aktuellen und historischen
Ueberblick mit Experimentalfilmen, Installationen, Performances
und neuen digitalen Formaten.
Dabei reicht das inhaltliche Spektrum von persoenlichen und
politischen Themen oder gestalterischen Experimenten bis zu
provokanten Aussagen aus dem Spannungsfeld “Medienkunst –
Gesellschaft”. Das Festival versteht sich als Ort des Experiments
und als Labor, in dem Ungewoehnliches, Versuche und Wagnisse
entstehen und praesentiert werden.
// AWARDS
Auf dem Festival wird der “EMAF-Award” für eine richtungsweisende
Arbeit in der Medienkunst, der “arte creative Newcomer Award”,
der “EMAF-Medienkunst-Preis der Deutschen Filmkritik” und
der “Dialogpreis” des Auswaertigen Amtes zur Foerderung des
interkulturellen Austausches von einer internationalen Jury
vergeben.
// CINEMA
Experimentelle Kurz- und Langfilme, Musikvideos, neue Formen
der Narration und Dokumentation sowie Sonderprogramme und
Retrospektiven.
// EXHIBITION
Das Festival praesentiert aktuelle Medien-Installationen
vom 22. April bis 25. Mai 2015 in der Kunsthalle Osnabrueck und
an anderen Orten Osnabruecks.
// EXPANDED MEDIA
Projekte der medialen Aktion und Interaktionen sowie Performances,
digitale Musik- und Soundprojekte sowie innovative Konzepte des
Expanded Cinema.
// MEDIA CAMPUS
Die Kontakt- und Projektboerse für neue Projekte, Tendenzen und
Konzepte aus den Medienuniversitäten, Kunstakademien und
Designhochschulen Europas.
// CONGRESS
Diskussionen und Fragestellungen zu den aktuellen Themenbereichen
des Festivals in Talks, Workshops, Kuenstlerpraesentationen und
Panels.

// EMAF is one of the most influential forums of international Media
Art. As a meeting point for artists, curators, distributors, galleries
and an audience of experts the festival has a great impact on the
topics and aesthetics of Media Arts.
Each year the festival offers its visitors a current overview of
experimental films, installations, performances and new digital
formats, ranging from personal and political subjects or formal
experiments to provocative statements from the pulsating area of
“Media Art – Society”. The Festival sees itself as a place of
experimentation and a laboratory where extraordinary works,
experiments and ventures are created and presented.
// AWARDS
At the festival an international jury will select the “EMAF
Award” for a trend-setting work in Media Art, the “arte creative
Newcomer Award”, the “EMAF Media Art Award of the Deutsche Filmkritik” and the “Dialog Award” of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs
for the promotion of intercultural exchange.

forms of narration and documentation as well as specials and
retrospectives.

From 22 April to 25 May 2015 the festival will present
current media installations in the Kunsthalle Dominikanerkirche and
other locations in Osnabrueck.
// EXPANDED MEDIA
Artistic projects in media-arts, performances, digital music and
sound projects, as well as the latest concepts of expanded cinema.
// MEDIA CAMPUS
The contact and project exchange forum for new projects,tendencies
and concepts from the media universities, academies of art and
design colleges of Europe.
// CONGRESS
Theoretical debates covering the various issues of the festival
in talks, workshops, artist presentations and panel discussions.
